Origami Books: As a kid, we all had art and craft classes in which origami art was taught to us. From making a simple airplane to birds and so many other things with a small sheet of colored paper was always a fun activity. But this origami art is not something that is new to us, it is the traditional art of Japanese craft of folding the paper sheet into figures and objects. The word origami translates as Ori which means “folded” and kami means paper. Out of so many sculptures art forms that are made by folding papers 95 % of them start with a perfect square shape, this is because it is easy to shape to geometrical prepare.

The square shape has diagonals and bisecting folds that are fundamental to origami art, this also depicts the radical symmetries of nature and bilateral. Even today origami is part of Japanese tradition, origami decorations are made in every households of Japan during celebrations. Christmas trees are also decorated using origami stars.
